It is used in: graphics design works, pattern and texture design, logo design, etc...

Adobe Illustrator is used for making logos and vector image illustrations. Here, if you expand the photo, then the picture quality will not get destroyed i.e image is not made out of pixels(smallest unit of a digital image or graphic).

Adobe Xd is used to make the prototype of a website. Just like before constructing a building, you need to draw the blueprint of the building. Likewise, you also need to prepare the blueprint of the website. You need to draw how it looks, the landing page and the pages that will appear on scrolling downwards.

Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing software used to create flyers, brochures, magazines, newspaper, and books.

You should avail these applications by taking a paid subscription.

Now the question which arises in the minds of many is this that "Whether we need any formal education for becoming a graphic designer or not?"

The answer is "No" and also "Yes".

No formal education required if you are just planning to do freelancing in graphic designing.

But if you are planning to take this as your full-time profession then a formal degree will bring more opportunities to your way.
