But even if you wish to make your own game or even become a game developer, then firstly you need to grab your feet in the following skills:

1) Decide if you want a 2D or a 3D game.
Based on if you want 2D or 3D game,
2) Choose an appropriate game engine
different types require, different game engine. For eg.2D games require game engines such as Construct2, Spiritkit, etc..
3D games require Unity3D, Sagaengine, etc…
Do proper research about the game engines. How to work on them? Which language to code in?
3) Work accordingly and build your game
As now you have the requisite knowledge, now you can work on the game engine and build your desirable game. Not easy as it sounds, but keep working hard and at the end you” ll come up with a great game.

Step 1: Develop High-Level Math Skills.
Mathematical skills are very important for a game developer.
Step 2: Get a Bachelor’s Degree.
You can do B.tech Computer Science Science, BSc. Computer Science, etc…
Step 3: Build a Portfolio.
In your portfolio give reference about the different projects you have done till now to make your portfolio strong.
Step 4: Find an Entry Level Position as a Game Programmer.
Step 5: Advance to Become a Software Developer.
