Email Marketing is still effective:-

Before understanding whether email marketing is effective or not and if it is, then how, firstly we should try to understand what is email marketing.
Email Marketing is one of the very important methods of internet marketing where emails are being used to sell products or services. In a nutshell, through emails, the company tries to develop trust and confidence for the product/service they are trying to sell in the mind of the recipient.
Most professionals claim that with the boost on social media, email marketing is no more effective. But is this true?
No, it’s still as effective as it earlier was. Instead, according to a study conducted by Mckinsey and Company, email marketing is 40 times more effective than social media. It is, in fact, the best way to drive Return of investment(ROI)if performed properly.
But the question that comes up to mind is this that, how is email marketing effective? The following points explain it all to you.
1)Email subscribers are warm leads unlike followers in social media. If a recipient gives you your email address and allows you from sending emails, then this means that the individual is genuinely interested in the product or service.

3)Emails provide a personalized experience to the recipient. Hence the recipient develops trust and confidence over the product/services. This confidence is helpful in efficient selling of the product/service.
4)Email marketing is effective as through this method the interests of the recipient can be determined. For example, through Drip email marketing wherein a series of emails are being sent to the recipient, and on the basis of the response of the recipient i.e no. of emails opened by him/her, scores are given. This method is called Lead scoring. Taking the reference of the score, his/her interest in the product is evaluated.
5)This method is cost effective. You can try tools such as MailChimp, Drip, AWeber, Handgrip, etc…at a very affordable price of 50 dollars.
Like every coin has its two sides, Email marketing also has its cons. But these cons can also be overcome through the efficient performance of email marketing.
